Terms of Service

1. Introduction​

Welcome to Ninja AU Modding, or NAUM ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using any mods, tools, or other content produced by this organization ("Services"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("TOS"). If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

2. Eligibility​

Our Services, including our Discord community and our mods, are intended for users who meet applicable age requirements defined by Innersloth LLC and Discord Inc.

As defined in the Innersloth Terms of Use:

If you want to use the Game, you must be at least 13 years old

As definded in the Discord Terms of Service:

By accessing our services, you confirm that you’re at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required by the laws in your country.

3. License​

If you plan to copy, modify, redistribute, or otherwise edit any of our mods, you must follow the terms of our chosen License under law. All of our mods are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) license. The terms under this license are the following:

  • Attribution (BY): You must give credit to us, such as a link to our GitHub or the specific repository you have copied/modified/changed. You also need to provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

  • NonCommercial (NC): You may not use our mods for commercial purposes. Selling or profiting from the mods is prohibited.

  • ShareAlike (SA): You are allowed to modify or build upon our mods for personal or non-commercial use, however if you do create derivative works, you must distribute them under the same license.

  • No Additional Restrictions: You may not impose legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from following the license terms.

4. Among Us & Third-Party Compliance​

Our mods are unofficial modifications to Among Us, a game developed by Innersloth. By using our Services, you acknowledge:

  • NAUM is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Innersloth LLC.

  • You must still follow the Among Us Terms of Use

5. Prohibited Conduct​

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Cheat, grief, or otherwise ruin the gameplay experience for others in public or private lobbies without all participants' consent.
  • Impersonate NAUM developers, contributors, or other users.
  • Distribute modified versions of NAUM mods that misrepresent their origin, introduce malware, or otherwise deceive users.
  • Use our mods in any manner that violates local, national, or international law.
  • Break Among Us Mod policy or Terms of Use

Violation of these rules may result in removal from NAUM community spaces and a permanent ban from using our services.

6. Contributions​

If you submit code, assets, bug reports, or other contributions to any NAUM repository, you agree that:

  • Your contribution may be incorporated into the project under the project's existing license.
  • You have the right to submit the contribution and it does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • NAUM maintainers reserve the right to accept, reject, or modify contributions at their discretion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties​

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our mods will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with any particular version of Among Us or any mod loader. Use at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NAUM and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use our Services, including but not limited to bans, data loss, or hardware issues.

9. Termination​

We reserve the right to revoke your access to our sercies and remove you from NAUM community spaces at any time, with or without cause, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or acted in a manner harmful to the community.

10. Changes to These Terms​

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the Effective Date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users via our Discord or GitHub organization.
